How To Make Your Hair Grow Faster Tips

How To Make Your Hair Grow Faster Tips

So you want to know how to make your hair grow faster? Make a wish, go to bed and wake up the next morning with a full head of long thick hair. All joking aside, this is of course only possible with a wig or hair implants. There is still no scientific way to accelerate the growth of hair. But there are a number of ways to stimulate healthy hair growth, as well as a range of conditions that should be avoided if you want your hair to grow faster.
The first and best advice is to follow a healthy diet, it’s especially important to be mindful of what you eat when trying to grow out your hair. Resist going on crash diets and doing other extreme measures when growing your hair out as an unbalanced diet will actually slow the growth of your hair and make it more prone to breakage. You should aim to eat plenty of proteins, and be sure to take in the right hair growth vitamins vitamin B and vitamin C in particular. Adding A multi-vitamin isn’t a bad idea and prenatal vitamins have been known to improve the look, length and strength of hair. Scroll down this page for more information on this.

Finding A Good Hair Growth Product

Often the first solution people look for is to find a miracle product. This miracle product does not exist. However there are a few gems out there that can help you accelerate the process of hair growth. When looking for a hair product that claims to stimulate hair growth you should always check whether the product is clinically tested and whether it’s safe to use. Right now the only product that we can safely recommend is Har Vokse since it’s one of the few 100% natural products that has actually been tested and shown to accelerate hair growth.

What to do when I cut my hair too short?

Everyone knows the feeling; You take a chance and go to your hairdresser to try out a new hair cut. At the hairdresser your new cut still kinda looks all right but once you get home and take a glance in the mirror you get the biggest shock; your new haircut is not what you thought it would be! When your haircut is too short for your liking, don’t panic, your hair will grow back. The bad news is that it will take a while as you can’t force nature. However, there are a few ways to let your hair grow faster. Three of the best things to do is massaging your scalp daily, oiling your scalp daily and eating healthy (aka taking in the right vitamins). Take a look below for more information about all this.

The facts and rumors of Hair Growth

It would make little sense to explain the chemical composition and the structure of the hair, because it doesn’t really help the person who wants longer hair. Scientists and researchers are already doing studies relating to quicker hair growth on people  and are working on finding the miracle cure. Therefore, we will focus on some facts and rumors that keep coming up on the internet concerning hair growth. More information on what hair is made of in our what is hair made of article.

My Hair was torn out by the roots – will it  still grow back?

Yes, but in this case it takes longer for the hair to grow back, because a new hair root must grow back first. Even if you have severely damaged your hair you will normally still grow it back (that is, when you take care of your hair as you should as explained here: how to treat your damaged hair).

Does Hair grow faster after shaving and cutting?

No. Hair grows from the hair root and grows from the inside to the outside. Therefore, it does not matter how often hair is cut or shaved. Hair below the root is “thicker” and is tapered.  This is why shaving cuts off the hair at the thickest point, which leads to a thicker hair growth appearance, is often mistaken for quicker hair growth. On the question of “how to grow hair faster”, cutting it more frequently is not the solution!

Hair Loss After Pregnancy

Is there a hair loss possibility after a pregnancy? Yes, there is. Learn more about this on our hair loss after pregnancy page.

Disease and / or medication – can I regrow my hair?

Yes. If the hair follicle was damaged due to illness (thyroid, pituitary, etc.) or the use of drugs (chemo therapy for example), it  most likely is the primary reason that the “roots” are packed. Then being able to grow new hair is usually no longer an obstacle.. Here, a specialist can help you to grow your hair once again.

Hair Growth and Hair Loss – Male and Female Differences

Although there are no real studies on a definite difference between men and women when it comes to hair growth, it is a fact that there is a difference when it comes to hair loss. In most cases when men experience hair loss, it is because of “male pattern baldness”. Hair loss in women can follow a similar pattern but can also be caused by hormones and medicine-intake. On another, but related subject, take a look at our Evolution of Men’s Hair article to learn about the evolution of men’s hair.

Does Dry Hair Have an Impact on Hair Growth?

No. Just having dry hair will not impact the growth of your hair. You may want to treat dry hair and do something about the health of your hair if you have very dry hair though.

Is There a Correlation Between Hair Color and Hair Growth?

No. Although there are genetic and racial differences when it comes to hair growth, one cannot say there is a definite relation between the color of your hair and how fast it grows. By the way, if you’re a brunette, go here for our hair tips for brunettes.

Does Having Split Ends Mean My Hair Grows Slower?

No. Having split ends has usually nothing to do with the rate of you hair growth. Having split ends is however a sign of unhealthy hair or simply just a bad hair cut. Go to our how to prevent split ends page for more information on this.

Can you get beautiful hair by brushing?

Yes. This helps the  blood flow to the scalp (not only during a full moon). And so if we go back to the question, “How  can I get my hair to grow faster.” Regular brushing does contribute to healthy, long hair.

How Hair Grows Faster – What To Do

Next to learning more about how fast your hair grows naturally, the following tips will help your hair grow faster and will also be healthy for your hair.

  • Healthy eatinggrey-hair-man2
    • A vitamin-rich diet is probably the best way to get a healthy head of hair because it stimulates the speed of hair growth. Fruit, vegetables and iron-containing foods should be on your  shopping list if you want healthy hair.
  • Brushing the hair
    • Brushing the hair (before and after washing it) stimulates the blood flow to the scalp and distributes the nutrients in the hair more evenly. Don’t brush it when you hair is wet though.
  • Massaging the scalp using a oil
    • By massaging the scalp using a combination of the right natural oils, plant extracts, vitamins and minerals (found in natural products like Har Vokse) you can clean out the hair shaft, increase the scalp bloodflow and promote hair growth.
  • The Hair’s Moisture Supply
    • There are maintenance agents that can be used in the hair to provide moisture. Oils are the best for this.
  • Avoid stress
    • “It’s tearing your hair out.” – The rumor that one’s hair falls out from stress is true, so stay casual and cool and try to avoid stress!
  • Supplements
    • Use natural hair growth supplements when you can’t cover your nutritional needs in your normal diet.. Vitamin A, C, H, and all the B vitamins, as well as copper, zinc, keratin (protein), silica and iron help in the quest for healthy and longer hair.

What NOT To Do

You now know what promotes hair growth and what keeps the hair healthy and stable. Now we should mention the things which are not healthy for the hair. In addition to a poor diet and a lot of stress, here are some things that should be avoided if you want to grow your “dream hair.”

  • Shampoos with silicone
    • This type of shampoos dry out the hair and causes it to break down faster. Blow dryers and flat irons have a similar effect as the silicone shampoos. The hair is almost attacked and becomes unstable when you use these products.
  • UV Lightcurly brunette in the air
    • UV rays bleach the hair which is very destructive to the future of your hair and your looks. If you go in the sun extremely often you should protect your hair by wearing a hat, a hoodie or a cap sometimes.
  • Salt and chlorine water
    • The hair is softened and then becomes dry again, which causes a steady change that is bad for the hair, especially when combined with the sun!
  • Hair ties and clips
    • If these are  worn in the same locations on the hair every day, it can cause the hairs to  break there!
  • Bleaching, dyeing, hair extensions and perms
    • A further explanation is unnecessary, as it is well known that all chemicals, used in this realm, attack and cause damage to the hair.

Minimize Stress

Have you ever noticed that your hair tends to fall out when you are stressed out?  Stress causes a chemical reaction in your body that negatively impacts your health.  These changes are reflected in your outward appearance, including your hair.

Do your health and your hair a favor by minimizing stress.  If you can’t avoid it all together, look for ways to wind-down at the end of your day.  Light exercise, massages and aroma therapy are all great ways to reduce your stress and improve the health of your hair.  Of all the ways to grow your hair faster, reducing stress is one that will benefit your entire body.

Address Medical Problems

If you are eating right and have relatively little stress, but still aren’t getting the hair growth results you would expect, you may want to speak with your doctor.  Certain medication sand conditions can cause hair growth to slow or stop.  More serious conditions can cause your hair to even fall out.

When you talk to your doctor, bring a list of all medications you take, including over the counter ones and any vitamins or minerals.  Your doctor will be able to help determine if your hair problems are being caused by something more serious.

Minimize Damage

Once your hair begins to grow you’ll need to minimize damage caused by styling tools and products.  This means laying off the curlers, straighteners, colorings and other common hair treatments.  Wash your hair, let it air dry and then brush it with a firm, but forgiving hairbrush.  Avoid breaking and damaging your hair at all costs.

It’s not just chemicals and treatments that can cause hair damage.  Wearing your hair in too tight of a ponytail, or styling it in tight braids can also cause hair to become weakened or even broken.  Avoid any style that puts too much pressure on any portion of your hair.

Miracle cures and dietary supplements for full, long hair

There is no “magic bullet” when it comes to growing ones hair out faster. long brow hairWebsites, distributors and online shops that advertise getting gorgeous long hair in one or two months and offer these expensive products are usually not as honest  or serious as they could be and have no real answer to the question “how to grow hair faster.” However, there really are some a few good natural products out there which stimulate the healthy growth of hair and can safely be used safely without worrying about chemicals.

Before  taking supplements, the family doctor should be consulted for help and information about which products can help each individual.

Influences on the hair: Health problems and inheritance

It’s a completely different topic if there is hereditary hair loss or hair loss due to a disease. In such a case it is always advisable to consult a specialist who is advanced in this area to really make sure what is helpful in your situation. Learning how to “grow hair quicker” is usually not at its place here.

Hair Diet

No matter the amount of time and cash you spend perfecting your hair with various products, the health of your hair starts from within. Hair is a a section of the integument (Latin for coating), this is a body system, equal to the nervous system. The integument contains skin, nails and hair. The 3 body parts are related, only hair is a little different because hair grows from the inside outwards. People use various hair products to achieve the desired effect of having healthy hair.

Unhealthy hair

Aside from (obviously) being unhealthy, unhealthy hair often looks ugly. It is dull, dry, has many split ends and it can look very frizzy. Bad nutrition is usually the main cause of unhealthy bad looking hair. Also, healthy hair is easily recognizable because it is usually thick and not dry. Learn more about getting thicker hair on our how to make your hair thicker page.

Add healthy foods to your diethealthy foods for hair growth diet

Avoid a poor diet, such as eating too much salt, sugar and animal fats that is a bad influence to your hair. That kind of diet will also cause stress to the body. It will have a need for more food. You lose vitamin B if you do not eat the right foods. Vitamin B has several different functions in the human body. Among other things, they can help to reduce hair loss and strengthen nails. It isn’t difficult to eat foods that contain vitamin C and B, such as eggs and bread. For more information on which vitamins or supplements to use go here.

Multivitamin pills

Multivitamin pills can be healthy for the hair, but it’s important that we get the proper nutrients and ingredients out of the food we eat. A lot of people take multivitamin tablets without understanding what they actually consume or what they need. Vitamin A should be in the multivitamin product you take because it does wonders for your skin, and it gives you a healthy scalp. Vitamin A can be found, for instance, in apricots. If you really want to consume all the necessary vitamins and minerals for faster hair growth you should always aim to buy natural hair growth supplements. Try not to eat healthy foods for hair growthunhealthy foods or to drink unhealthy beverages that deplete the body of nutrients. Try not to eat chocolate, as it is a delicious, but often unhealthy food.

Water and Omega-3 fats

How many glasses of water are essential for healthy hair? To be precise: 8 glasses of water a day minimum would be the perfect amount of water to get healthy looking hair. To clean your body’s system, you drink water. Drink water every day as it is easy to do and cheap. Hair consists for 98 percent out of protein. Tresses are dead proteins. Once the hair from the head grows out, it is dead. So realizing this, it’s easy to conclude that protein should be part of your daily diet. A couple of good sources of healthy proteins are seeds, nuts and fish.

Hair Fooding

As you could read above on this page, there is a link between your taste buds and the beauty of your hair! Hair fooding is a new way of eating that is elevated to an art of living that combines good health, fun and flavor.

What makes these recipes so healthy? Vitamins!

  • Vitamin A is responsible for the growth of the hair and gives it shine and flexibility.
  • Vitamin B2 is beneficial for the overall health of your hair.
  • Vitamin B5 and B7 help prevent dehydration, reduce hair loss and give body and suppleness to your hair.
  • Vitamin B6 regulates the production of sebum.
  • Vitamin C gives your hair energy.
  • Vitamin E stimulates the circulation of the scalp, which works wonders for  hair growth.

Some good examples of hair growth recipes you can make:

  • Carrot Soup à l’orange (contains vitamin A and E)
  • Aperitif Glass with avocado, salmon and feta (includes vitamin A, B6 and B7)
  • Coupe with avocado and banana (contains vitamin B5 and B7)
  • Cocktail Jardin fruit (containing vitamins A, B2 and C)

If you follow the above guidelines and tips for ways to grow your hair faster, you should be well on your way to having the long, beautiful hair you’ve always wanted.  A little bit of effort and a lot of patience are key to growing your hair out.

  • You can take supplements which will help but to be honest with the exception of hormones and certain drugs that can stimulate growth most products sold are bunk. OTC products typically do not contain anything that can stimulate hair growth itself but there are products that will help stimulate blood flow around the hair bulb which in turn can help promote growth.

Did you know that brush your scalp with a natural fiber brush will also help stimulate blood circulation which also helps stimulate your hair bulb? If you brush your hair twice a day and make sure to get the scalp as well then that will also help get rid of the hair that’s shed and stimulates your roots.

  • i think most people disregard the healthy eating part. there are a lot of people with damaged or ugly hair out there who try out every kind of shampoo who should just need to take care of their nutrition and diet instead of buying all these “miracle” shampoos and/or medicines

  • i had hair to my hips then totally damaged it and chopped about 14 inches off in august, needless to say i’m looking forward to get my long hair back. it’s grown about an inch and a half since then, but any new tips would be awesome. i just started fish oil supplements a week ago, as well as moroccan oil hair repair mask, and started taking my biotin/collagen/gelatin mix supplements again (which helped last time) anything else? does that horse shampoo really work? also- last time i chopped my hair off about 5 years ago, i took prenatal pills which seemed to work fairly well.

  • M. Footworth

I started taking a vitamin supplement about 2 months ago and i am really seeing a difference. Even my stylist is commented that my new growth is strong and healthy. I really recommend doing this because it helps!

  • You can also massage the scalp with coconut oil and eat a protein rich diet. Hair growth mostly starts from the inside and not the outside.

  • I absolutely agree with you. I think their are a lot of troubling hair situations out there which could be solved simply by changing a person’s diet. However, not in all cases. Some people just have such damaged hair that it needs to be treated with a hair treatment. This can be very effective.

  • KElly

These were very helpful tips, I’ve been trying to grow my hair more rapidly for well over a year now and it’s hard to tell if anything works or not. I found some new tips on this page which I will try out, I especially like the “hair fooding”!!

  • mario bellato

i always find it interesting that most people don’t realize that vitamins and healthy nutrients can really stimulate hair growth. vitamins and the right nutrients are key to growing hair…

  • Bianca Armstrong

It’s not just vitamins and the right food which help hair grow quicker, it’s also the way you treat it. I find that regularly combing the hair and using the right shampoo really does help. It’s a long process though.

  • blondiegirl

hmmm i find it hard to test if this all really helps. you never know if it helps cause it takes so long to see the effects….

  • clarafast

I think the best tip on this site is the “healthy hair” tip. Healthy hair is key to hair growth in my opinion, more important as treating or washing your hair with any sort of wonder shampoo. People don’t understand how important nutrition is for the body, also for the hair.

  • These are great tips! Instead of multivitamin pills though, I would try a hair vitamin. Hair vitamins have extra amino acids that multivitamins don’t.

  • Alice

Hi! I am a hair stylist and first of all I want to tell you what hair growth tips I’m using for me and for my clients. As I learned before the hair consist of eighty percent protein. B vitamin allows it to grow faster with blending in protein.

The new cells are born more quickly and these B complex vitamins help them to grow and produce new cells in higher amount than its normal rate.

The most important tip: just massage you scalp… shampoo every other day and don’t blow dry or straighten(or apply any heat) for a while trust me you will see a difference … i noticed 4 inches IN JUST 2 AND A HALF MONTHS.

  • Gaga

Getting proper sleep and regular exercise can help hair grow faster. It is important to drink plenty of water, preferably the recommended eight glasses a day.

  • Olga

I would suggest to sleep on a silk pillowcase, and use silk to tie hair back. It prevents hair tearing.

  • Olga
  • What a great article. It’s amazing how many misconceptions there are out there regarding hair growth (like triming every 6 weeks will make it grow faster).

  • krysta

  • Katie

Hey , Thanks for the AWESOME advice there . (; But I was wondering .. Does tieing up your hair really cause Hair breakage ? Some sites says it does cause breakage and other sites says tieing up your hair is healthy , and it makes it grow faster ?

  • jessie

My hair is about 25cm passed my shoulders and its been that same length for as long as I can remember, my mum keeps forcing me to get it cut and I really want long hair. One moment it looks really long then the next I have to get it cut and i tell he hair dresser to cut small bits off, just the ends but she cuts a lot off.say if I don’t get it cut for a year or two. Will it grow??

  • I agree with you 🙂 I think B vitamin works for hair growth. thanks for sharing your valuable tips here.

  • fgdfhfjh

    what was the first one?????

  • Jade

The bit about the hair dresser doing it not how you planned it to turn out was the reason I looked on here thanks great help xxxxxxxxxx

  • letsstayfit org

The entire article is packed with lots of useful and reliable
information. Thanks for sharing it with us. In fact, getting a regular
trim no less than every few months helps
keeping damaged ends at bay and allows hair to grow faster.

  • Shelia

Putting your hair up with elastic bands, head bands etc, are hard on your hair and will eventually make it break.

Anytime you put stress on your hair it will damage it. I also have read pulling your hair up will make it thinner when you get older. That came from a 2013 cosmetology book. Trimming your hair is good it doesn’t make it grow faster but it does keep the split ends from going up the hair shaft and causing it to break. So in the end it is better to keep it trimmed. Schwarzkopf makes a product that is called rescue and repair that is awesome to help with hair that tangles easily and it can be used on wet or dry hair. That will allow you to brush or comb your hair without breaking. I used it on ,my daughters hair and I swear by it. It’s a dream come true. There is also other wonderful products out.

  • well thanks i have blond hair with highlights but i have hair fall issue do you have any instruction relevant to that?

  • One of the most important things I’ve found is that–while you do want to protect your hair from the bleaching and drying effects of the sun–you want to make sure that you spend a healthy amount of time absorbing some rays through your skin.

You’ll want to be careful of course, since too much sun can damage not just your hair but also your skin; however, the vitamin D you get from the sun is extremely important for your overall health.

As the article points out, our hair is a reflection of the health of our entire body! Vitamin D is included in many supplements, but nothing beats getting at least some of your daily supply right from the source when the weather is nice.

It is true that you cannot force nature, but you can certainly help things along if you know how to use vitamins and nutrients directly from nature itself! Correct diet, vitamin supplements, getting some sun, and avoiding damage are all very important for keeping hair beautiful long term.

But I discovered that if you need to repair your hair quickly after accidental damage or make it grow faster in preparation for an event (or when you’ve gotten a bad style!!) you need to have a natural boost of nutrients you can apply directly to your hair and scalp. Otherwise, you may be waiting a very long time for the growth you need.

You can read my personal story at

I wouldn’t have had gorgeous hair for my best friend’s wedding, and maybe I wouldn’t even have met my wonderful boyfriend that day if I had not just happened to make this discovery when I did.

Sometimes I still can’t believe how much damaged or slow-growing hair can hurt a woman’s confidence, and how emboldened we are when our hair is beautiful and we know it!

  • The tips on this page really worked for me as well. They are simple tips but effective!

  • Nikkie

this works im always wearing wigs on videos

  • Jessica American Grl

After washing let it air dry put a braid or 2 in your hair, take it out after 4 hours then brush it till its fully straight then put pink lotion in it : WORKS 100% FOR PEOPLE WITH ALL SORTS OF HAIR!!

  • Jacky USA

It’s always fascinating to me that most people don’t realize you can help your hair grow simply by using most of these tricks on this page. For me adding vitamins to my diet and brushing my hair daily (and my comb) really helped me tremendously. It helped me grow my hair out much faster. Just try it, it works!!

  • Yanza21

Thanks for these tips, I really liked the one about the vitamins. Vitamins really are good for all parts of the body aren’t they? I feel if you just eat a lot of vegetables and fruits all day most of your body parts will turn out well no matter what you do (unless you live extremely unhealthy of course :)). Anyway, good tips!

  • holliekelly

I tried a few of these tips on this page (mostly eating vitamins and brushing my hair) and it seems to work so far. My hair looks soooo much better as before too. I’ve been doing it for 2 months now and people see the change in my hair which is really nice.

  • asdfghjkl

wearing very tight jeans :-< all the boys at school looked at me funny the whole day and my friends were laughing. it was so awkward. i thought it was sexy but it just made me stand out in a really awkward way

  • Mark Lindman

Not only B vitamins work wonders for your hair but also foods which contain vitamin D. If you want to eat healthy plus take in a lot of vitamin D for your hair you should eat a lot of fish.

  • Hans Sliedrecht

Well that’s true but not all vitamins are great for hair growth but will work, of course, for other body functions and will contribute to a better health in general. But besides eating right you should definitely also brush you hair at least once a day. Or better, massage your scalp so the blood flows through the follicles. This helps grow out your hair faster as well.

  • Loretta Kay Lee

Yes, vitamins do help a lot and so does eating healthy in general. It’s good for your entire body, not just the hair. What also helps is brushing a lot so the hair follicles get enough blood flow which is very beneficial to the growth of hair. Massaging your scalp is probably even better so try that too!!!

The latest 2013 thing to grow out your hair quicker is to massage your scalp 2 times a day, every morning and every evening I believe. I tried this method and it really worked for my hair and my friends hair as well. It’s amazing what massaging your scalp does to your hair follicles. It’s one of the greatest feelings too, especially when someone else does it to you.

  • Cayly

I’ve been obsessed with growing my hair for a long time now and nothing works,I was told that trimming it makes it ‘healthier’ so a while back I cut it and I’ve noticed growth.. But its still about above my bra clip.. Is there anything I can do to ensure growth?

  • Canadian Fabian

This is very true. I haven’t seen many people here talk about the importance of sleep in relation to hair growth and the health of your hair. Lots of people only focus on taking the right vitamins and nutrients but getting a proper rest is just as important.

  • Uckele

I’ve also been taking a vitamin supplement for a few months now and I’m also eating a lot of vegetables and good oils (like olive oil and fish oil) and my hair looks a lot better as before and it grows faster too I think. People have been complementing me on my hair more as before saying it looks thicker and nicer. It’s really and easy way of getting better hair.

  • JennyFromTheBlock

This is such great information, thanks a lot! I’m going to try massaging my scalp now daily and buying that spray to spice up my hair and the health of my hair more. Also, eating vitamins is really key I think to growing your hair quicker so I’m going to try that too. Thanks!

  • Ericka D.

What a wonderful page this is! I spent about 2 hours reading through all the tips and comments and I know all I need to know now to grow my hair out more rapidly. Thanks to everyone commenting here and thanks to the maker of this page!

  • Kraza

I’m also african and I cut my hair too short as well. What I did to help the problem is oiling and massaging my scalp with just simple hair oil. It is really the best way to make hair grow quicker. I work in a hair shop and it works for almost all people I recommend it to. Just massage your scalp daily and oil your scalp and hair and you will have great looking and fast growing hair in a very short time.

  • Carter Patricia

You actually don’t want to brush your hair more than twice a day because every time you brush it you’re thinning your hair. You also want to use a wide tooth comb when washing your hair and not a brush. Your hair is the most weak when it’s wet and if you brush it you are literally pulling it out.

  • The shad

    thank you

  • Clara Inocencio

there’s a saying by the father of toxicology “everything is poisonous only the dose permits it not to.” which means, it is but don’t over do it. I use a hair clamp instead of elastic hair ties since it doesn’t create waves :))

  • Alice

Hi guys I got my hair cut into a bob for a change but I hate it could you please tell me what do I need to do to get it as long as my belly button and how long will it take. By the way my hair can grow very quickly.

  • Christy Davidson

Great article! I agree with adding healthy foods to your diet. You are what you eat and if your body is not getting the proper nutrients and protein it needs neither is your hair and it will break and fall out because of this.

I’m a 12 yr old who is in need of major hair growth. I cut my hair to just below the bottom of my breasts, with two thicker bits shorter than the rest of my hair. If I put my hair against k a middle section of hair is around 2 inches longer than the rest of my hair shaft. It’s the Summer Holidays now and I really need to be below belly button length by mid-August as minimum. I take a multivitamin plus cod liver oil capsules once every day, I eat nuts, meat, lentils and eggs every day, I have Dr Organic Vitamin E shampoo and conditioner, I drink water frequently, I don’t stress about anything, I haven’t started my period at all, I keep my hair ends tucked in for almost every hairstyles that I do, I don’t tug or put unnecessary pressure on my head, and my hair still hasn’t seemed to grow! I know what the Inversion Method is but haven’t tried it as of now because I am worried it’s going to have a reverse on me.
It’s been 3 months since I did this awful haircut and haven’t seen any hair growth at all. I have taken photos but have not measured my hair with a tape measure or ruler, and as I have done more research, watched more videos and read more articles I have slowly altered my diet and hair care routine. I have picked up tips and hints along the way and have seen that the Inversion Method is almost instant, because you can grow 1 inch of hair in one week! Please help me! Thanks 🙂 Mail me to tell me more tips.

No, I’m sorry. You have to get it trimmed, or it’ll get damaged and it won’t look like it’s growing at all. Try to ask the hair dresser to cut as little as possible off, and if your Mum wants you to have short hair, tell her how you feel. i hope I helped:)

I have a friend who was losing her hair at a young age, and told me that tested all products against hair falling until she started eating healthier and sleeping better. That has been of great help. I have seen that it is very useful and works well, I recommend it.

I agree with GREATA, massaging your scalp does feel great! I was given a tonic to massage for my thinning hair on my forehead and its been 1 week since I tried it and can see hair growing, so I believe in the massaging tonic for healthy hair.

There are no racial differences in rate of hair growth. Some ethnicities experience shrinkage. When expanded the true length can be seen. But in its resting state the hair is tightly spiraled, appearing short. Also, when chemicals are used, weakening the hair, breakage is experienced at a faster rate than growth. That can give the illusion of a slower growth rate. It has more to do with practices
    and hair structure.
